Cultural Computing Laboratory

Showcasing a wide-ranging assortment of multimedia equipment including directional speakers, a video wall, plasma displays, touch panels, HDTV video capture and editing facilities and more, Siebel Center is uniquely equipped to facilitate academic research in the arts. The Cultural Computing program will allow faculty from music, the arts, and humanities to spend time in Siebel Center, use its infrastructure in support of their research, and collaborate with CS faculty and students in joint research and education. Work is currently underway in the CCP laboratory where these collaborations are pushing the envelope and exploring the intersection of their respective disciplines.
