Dear Prospective and Current Students,
Augment your professional experience. Position yourself for leadership. Deepen your knowledge of emerging research and trends in your field.
The Department of Computer Science's I2CS online Master of Computer Science degree and certificate programs enable busy professionals to enhance their education and advance their careers, while continuing to meet their current career obligations. Our uniquely designed courses are identical to our top tier on-campus programs - the only difference is your location.
With I2Cs, you can leverage our world-class faculty and
research, and your on-campus peers for a distance learning program
unlike any other.
We invite you to explore our:
Summer 2008 Theory Prep Course
We are please to once again offer our Theory Bridge course this summer. The concept behind this course is that we will offer lectures based on our undergraduate preparatory course, CS273, to prepare I2CS students for CS473. The course will consist of lectures, but no graded homeworks or exams. There will be practice exercises. No credit will be given, and the course will not appear on any University records. It is simply preparation for CS473, Algorithms, for our students who feel they are lacking the proper background. This is an ideal section for students taking CS473 this fall.
The course will begin with the summer I2CS courses on May 27. Because it will not consist of graded assignments, it would be possible to review the material for fall and take a summer course at the same time.
We are targeting the cost for the course at $500, with a 60% discount to our MCS degree students. The costs will cover the administrative fees associated with a course of this nature.
Theory Bridge course registration is separate from regular
course registration. Register for the course at www.engr.uiuc.edu/ocee/cs/prepcourse/.
