I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Currently I am a research assistant in the Illinois Security Lab under supervision of my advisor, Dr. Carl Gunter.

Oct '06: I passed my PhD qualifying exam.
Nov '06: After months of preparation, the new Illinois Security Lab webpage goes live. I am in charge of the Networking and Lab News sections. Any feedback is appreciated.
Dec '06: Our paper on Attribute-based Messaging and Access Control was presented in ACSAC '06 (Read more).
Mar '07: Our paper on
Interactive Policy Transformations for Logical Attribute-based Access Control Systems was accepted for publication in SACMAT '07.
Nov '07:
Our paper on Adaptive Denial of Service Defense was accepted for publication in INFOCOM '08.
Aug '08:
I am back to research life from a fun internship at Morgan Stanley in New York!
