Undergraduate School : Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey
From Fall 2001 until Spring 2005, I called Rutgers University my home. I graduated with high honors and in Phi Beta Kappa, earning a Bachelor of Science in two majors, Computer Science and Mathematics. In the summer of 2004 I participated in a Research Experience for Undergraduates program through DIMACS. In fact, if you look, they still have up my website about the project I worked on with Dr. Martin Farach-Colton involving cache-oblivious B-trees. That summer I went to a conference at Dagstuhl before going to DIMATIA in Prague. You can also find my name on the web associated with Martin from the time I gave a presentation in his Automata Theory class on Church's "An unsolvable problem of elementary number theory" with David Weissman.
This isn't to say I spent all my days studying - I tried to have a very full college experience. I loved the opportunities I had throughout my time in the Rutgers College Honors Program. I was proud to be the president of the volunteer tour group, Scarlet Key. I always enjoyed a laugh at the performances and parties of the College Avenue Players. My heart still skips a beat whenever I hear the beautiful voices of the Rutgers Glee Club.
