Welcome to the Graduate Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois. We are excited you have chosen our department to pursue your graduate studies in computer science. Our mission is to find the brightest, most motivated students possible and provide them with education, guidance, and the resources necessary to become leading researchers in academia, industry, or government labs. As a student within our department, you have an opportunity to be a part of ground-breaking research, historic firsts and future discoveries.
