Grades in CS231 are assigned according to a curve. The distribution used has been close to the one specified in the syllabus: "The distribution of final grades will be approximately 30% As, 35% Bs, 30% Cs, and 5% others".
You can compute your grade as: (Average of HWs) *0.3 + (Average of Midterms)*0.38+(Average of quizzes)*0.05+Final*0.27
Grades have been assigned as follows:

between 78 and 84 --> B
between 70 and 78 --> C
below 70 Others
Final Exam grades have been entered into Mallard. The average was 64, with a high of 99 and a low of 33. Have a good summer!

The Final Exam will be held on Tuesday, May 6, from 8:00am to 11:00am in 1404 SC. It will be cumulative, but with more emphasis on the post-Midterm2 material.
Office hours will be held both on Thursday and Friday of this week. Office hours on Thursday, however, will now be from 4:00 to 5:30. There will be no office hours next week.

There have been some requests for students to learn their current grades. Grades for CS 231 are calculated on a curve. You can calculate your current standing in the following way:

This grade can be no higher than a 0.73 at this point (please see syllabus for
