- May 1: Final exam information
As you hopefully know, our final exam will be held on Monday, May 5, from 8am - 11am. Since we have two rooms, it is important that we distribute the students evenly among them.Last name starts A-0: Siebel 1404We also finally received a time and location for our Review Session: it will be held on Saturday, May 3, from 2pm - 4pm in the Transportation Building, room 103.
Last name starts P-Z: DCL 1310
- April 28: From the newsgroup:
Erin and Kevin have computed prefinal averages; you can see your prefinal average by logging into compass (multiply the decimal average by 100 to use the table below). The prefinal average includes all grades in the course except for HW11 and the final. If we had to convert these grades into letter grades today, we would use the following conversion table:
A+ 100-94 C+ 66.9-64 A 93.9-84 C 63.9-54 A- 83.9-81 C- 53-51 B+ 80.9-78 D 50-40 B 77.9-69 F 39- B- 68.9-67
Please remember that the final is worth 30% of your grade -- an opportunity to help or hurt your grade significantly. Good luck and study hard!
- April 27: Update: my office hours for Monday (tomorrow) will start at 1pm. --Kevin
- April 26: The TAs and section leaders realize that your homework is due on an unusual date and that you have a final coming up. We've scheduled as many office hours as we could. Do *not* refer to the usual scheduled times of office hours for the duration of the semester; refer to this source instead. If any changes need to be made, we'll let you know here.
