Title: The Angle Coverage Problem in Visual Sensor Networks Abstract: In a visual sensor network, every node is equipped with a camera and the data to be collected and transmitted are images. Unlike sensors that measure temperature, humidity, etc., a camera can only capture a certain side of an object. In other words, to get a 360 view of an object, several cameras are needed. In this talk, I will describe how we can identify a set of cameras that achieve 360 angle coverage with minimum cost efficiently in a distributed manner.
