Grading Policies:
Grading will follow a quasi-curved system (as in Psychology 101, etc.) Each student's grade will be determined in two ways:

90% of the total points will get an A, 80% will get a B, 70% a C, etc.
A score (out of 100) will be determined based on the performance of the top students; 90% of this will get you an B, 80% a C, etc.

The higher of these two will be used to determine your grade. We also may revise grades upwards in other ways.

Points for this class will be broken up as follows:

5%	Class Participation
15%	Web Quizzes
15%	Written Homework
15%	Lab Work, either written or oral
15%	Mid-term 1
15%	Mid-term 2
20%	Final Exam
