• 05/05 - Dear CS533 students:

  On tuesday April 11 and 12, there is a workshop on "system effects of logic soft errors" at UIUC. The talks are in CSL B02. You are welcome to drop by and listen to the talks. In particular, there is a panel on April 11 from 8:45 to 9:45 on technology issues, that I would very much would encourage you to attend (please see http://www.selse.org/). I suggest we do the following: those of you who can make it, let us meet in CSL B02 at 845am for the panel. Then, when it is over, we will walk to the lecture room. Therefore, the class will be from around 9:50 to 10:45am.

• 05/01 - Dear Students:

  The final project will be due by 6pm on tuesday May 9. Format of the final project:

  • Max 12 pages in 2-column format, 9 point.
  • Please organize it like a conference paper: abstract, intro, algorithm or architectural enhancement, implementation, setup, evaluation, related work, conclusion.
  • You can reuse text from the midterm report, of course enhanced with what you have done since then and the results that you have obtained.
