Nov 27: Prof. Borisov's office hours for next week will be moved to Wed, Dec 6, 10-12am
Oct 20: Midterm solutions have been posted.
Oct 16: Question 3 in Problem Set 4 has been updated with a new diagram.
Oct 13: Monika's office hours are moved to Mondays
Oct 6: Please consult the midterm study guide to review topics for the midterm.
Oct 4: Monika's office hours on Oct 5 are moved to 3-5PM. MP2 deadline extended until Oct 6 at 9pm.
Oct 3: Please see the newsgroup for clarifications on MP2 regarding framing and compression. Do NOT use compression in your solution to MP2.
Sep 27: Shreyas' office hours are moved to EWS lab in 252 EL. He will also hold an extra office hour this Friday (29th) for people who have questions about homework or MP grading.
Sep 22: Final exam is tentatively set for Dec 14, 1:30pm-4:30pm. Please email the instructor if you have a conflict at this time.
Sep 21: The office hours for Prof. Borisov on Sep 26th will changed to 9am-11am.
Sep 13: We have a new TA for the course, Shreyas Prasad. He will be responsible for grading MPs and answering questions about them. His contact info is listed below.
Sep 9: Problem set 2 has been corrected: problem 4c should say "4 bits" rather than "3 bits".
Aug 30: TA office hours set, see below.
Aug 25: Homework 1 and MP1 are availabe under the Assignments section. Also, if you missed the first lecture, please complete the Self-Evaluation Quiz and return it to 460 CSL by the end of day Monday. (You can slide it under my door if I am not there.)
Aug 22: You may have been unable to register for this course because it is listed as full. This is not a hard limit and we will adjust the supported class size to match attendance. If you are interested in the class, please show up to the first lecture and we will resolve the enrollment issues within the first couple of weeks.
Aug 22: Remember that the first lecture is on Friday, Aug 25. (Aug 23 is officially counted as a Monday). See you all then!
