FINAL EXAM INFORMATION

Final exam will be closed-notes and closed-book, electronic calculators are allowed.

1. Regular Final Exam : -->> 8 AM - 11 AM <<--. Saturday December 17th in room (pick any one room) 1404 SC or 1214 SC or 1304 SC.
2. Conflict Final Exam : (attend only if you've emailed Indy to RSVP) 9 AM - 12 PM. Friday December 16th in room 2407 SC.
3. Students with Special Requirements/Disabilities can take the final exam at DRES during the regular final exam times (with extension) - please email DRES at least one week before the final exam date to set up the appointment.

Final exam will cover all material since Lecture 1 in the course. However, there will be more emphasis on material covered since the midterm. Please revise all HW's, all MP's, all quizzes, the midterm, all lecture slides, and all relevant sections. The best practice problems for the final are the HW problems, quiz/midterm problems, and all problems in the back of each textbook chapter.

• 8/12: The textbook is Modern Operating Systems (Second Edition) , Andrew S. Tanenbaum, Prentice Hall, 2001, the same book as used in previous semesters. The campus bookstore has ordered copies of the book, and the Grainger library has it on reserve.
