Your Oracle and MySQL accounts are set up. The platform where these are available also has PHP set up and ready to go.
In addition, if you would like a source code control facility to make code development and sharing easier for your group, you can request a Subversion repository on that same platform. You can find the details about how to make use of these facilities at https://agora.cs.uiuc.edu/display/CSIL/csil-projects.cs.uiuc.edu.
We have also posted an example of how to access Oracle from a Java program using JDBC, which you can find at http://www.cs.uiuc.edu/class/fa08/cs411/tutorial.html. (JDBC will be covered in our lecture.) On Oracle and MySQL accounts, your login name is your NetID and your initial password is sent by Compass email. Please check your mailbox on Compass. Once you get the password, we encourage you to play around with either or both of these DBMSes, starting with their interactive shell and moving on to PHP and JDBC.

be picked up in SC 2120 by on-campus students, after initial distribution.
Students have three days after
grades are posted to submit a written request for regrading. The written
request must show that a student have read solutions and compared his/her

to be awarded. This request should be sent to a TA responsible for the
homework. The responsible TA (instead of the original graders) will be in
charge of regrading, and therefore the decision will be final. Depending on the
regrading, the final grade may be higher, lower, or unchanged. The TA has the
option of reevaluating the entire homework. The decision timeframe is
